Founded by Katie Gastley in Vero Beach, Florida in 2017, Botanica is a candle and apothecary company that works to contribute toward the goal of ecological, societal, and environmental sustainability with their intentional practices. They are committed to supporting charitable organizations with every product they create by donating $1 from each product sold back to region-specific non-profit organizations in the areas indigenous to their fragrance ingredients. Botanica strives to make a positive impact on the people and planet–not only by mere charitable giving–but by creating useful (and beautiful) products that fit into a circular economy.
All of their candles and apothecary products are made by hand in the USA out of the highest quality naturally effective ingredients. Botanica uses recyclable materials in their packaging and sources safe and non-toxic raw materials for products. They design their glass candle vessels specifically to be up-cycled into drinking tumblers, and work with local businesses to reuse packing materials for shipping that would otherwise be landfill-bound. Their candles, incense, bath soaks and soaps all bring soothing and distinct scents to your home.
