Travis Hartanov and Kohl Crecelius started their journey in 2007 when they co-founded Krochet Kids intl. -- a nonprofit fashion brand providing empowering employment in Uganda and Peru. After ten years of growth and the desire to do more, Travis and Kohl created Known Supply, a B Corp and Fair Trade certified apparel brand that build upon the same values as Krochet Kids and has social good woven into every part of their operations. They produce timeless staple pieces made from quality fabrics, like organic cotton, that customers love.

Known Supply is much more than an apparel brand. It is a movement and a platform for social good that is reimagining apparel production in a way that honors and celebrates the people behind the clothing we buy. As shoppers, we rarely consider the implications our purchases have on the communities who actually make the items we wear and as a result companies are incentivized to drive prices and quality lower. And this is what Known Supply works to change. They work with underserved populations to provide meaningful work and to show the powerful impact their clothing purchases can have if made thoughtfully.
